S-H falls to WCC

Sloan-Hendrix hosted the White County Central Bears in high school basketball action Friday night at Imboden.
In the senior boys game, WCC ran out to a 14-5 lead in the first quarter. The Hounds stepped up the pace in the second quarter and tied the game 21-21 at halftime.
The Bears slipped past Sloan-Hendrix 34-30 in the third quarter and went on to defeat the Greyhounds 52-43.
Trevor Anderson and Chad Orrick each scored 13 points to lead Sloan-Hendrix.
Sloan-Hendrix won the junior high boys game 48-26.
