S-H beats Quitman

Sloan-Hendrix defeated 2A-2 conference foe Quitman 41-39 at Imboden on Friday night.

The Greyhounds led 13-7 at the close of the first quarter, but Quitman rallied to cut Sloan-Hendrix's lead to 18-15 at halftime.

The Bulldogs continued their comeback in the second half and led 26-25 after three quarters, before the Greyhounds fought back in the final period to claim the win.

Stanley Archer led Sloan-Hendrix with 16 points. Royce Pace had 12 points, and Chad Orrick added 10.

Ridgefield Christian

The Sloan-Hendrix junior high boys traveled to Jonesboro on Dec. 3 and defeated Ridgefield Christian 68-23.
