Kiwanis to match December
donations to Shepherd Care

This is the fifth year for Kiwanis to match the December donations, and in the previous four years, total gifts to Shepherd Care have exceeded $1,000 each year.

Shepherd Care is a free clothing resource for qualified clients from Lawrence County and was established by the Lawrence County Ministerial Alliance. Shepherd Care is located at 710 Highway 67B North, Walnut Ridge. An all-volunteer group operates the store on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The ministry relies on monetary donations for operating expenses, such as rent and utilities
