Holiday events in full swing

Holiday events are in full swing in Lawrence County.
Christmas in the Park at Stewart Park in Walnut Ridge opened Tuesday night following the Walnut Ridge Christmas parade. It will remain open through Jan. 4 for visitors to drive through from 5-10 p.m. each evening.
Hoxie held its annual parade on Monday night, Lynn's parade was on Saturday and Imboden's was Sunday. In addition the Northeast Arkansas Chorale presented their annual concert on Saturday night.
Other upcoming holiday events include:

Dec. 6, 6:30 p.m. - Black Rock School Christmas concert at the multi-purpose building.

Dec. 8, 2 p.m. - Black Rock Christmas Parade.

Dec. 8, 2 p.m. - Swifton Christmas Parade.

Dec. 8, 6 p.m. - Clover Bend Christmas supper at the Clover Bend Auditorium.

Dec. 8, 6-10 p.m. - Powhatan Courthouse Holiday Ball.

Dec. 8, 7 p.m. - Walnut Ridge High School Winter Ball Grand March at Van Ellis Cafetorium.

Dec. 9, 3 p.m. - Walnut Ridge High School band Christmas concert at the Walnut Ridge Community Center.

Dec. 9 - Hoxie VFD Santa Run during the afternoon.

Dec. 11, 7 p.m. - Hoxie High School band and choir Christmas concert at the high school gymasium.
