Andrews re-elected
Farm Bureau officer

The 73rd Annual Convention of Arkansas Farm Bureau reelected Stanley Reed of Marianna and Randy Veach of Manila to their fifth terms as president and vice president, respectively, on Friday. The convention was held in Little Rock.

In its annual post-convention meeting, the organization's board of directors also elected John Andrews of Walnut Ridge secretary/treasurer. It is his fifth term, as well.

All three state officers serve one-year terms.

Additionally, the convention's 318 voting delegates from across Arkansas re-elected Todd Allen of West Memphis, Andrews, Billy Sharp of War Eagle, Dennis Ritchie of Nashville, Richard Armstrong of Ozark, Rich Hillman of Carlisle and Troy Buck of Alpine to the state board for two years. Each year, half of the organization's board stands for election.

Arkansas Farm Bureau is a nonprofit, private advocacy organization of more than 227,000 families throughout the state working to improve farm and rural life.
