Black Rock hosted Walnut Ridge in high school basketball on Nov. 19.

Senior boys

Black Rock's Les Foster hit a 10-foot jump shot with five seconds remaining to give the Zebras a 46-45 win over the Bobcats.

Foster led Black Rock with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Ben Walker added 11 points.

Tommy Lawrence led Walnut Ridge with 19 points and 13 rebounds.

Senior girls

The Lady Zebras held a 28-27 halftime lead over Walnut Ridge, but the Lady Bobcats clawed their way to a 44-38 lead after three quarters and went on to claim a 56-46 win.

Chelsea Treadway led Walnut Ridge in scoring with 15 points. Rachel Looney added 14 points and pulled down 16 rebounds. Vanessa Oliver had 12 points, and Alivia Hackworth added seven. Chelsey Linebaugh had six points Lacey Cobble closed with two.

Whitney Martin led the Lady Zebras with 15 points, and Stephanie Bagwell had 11.

Junior boys

Black Rock won the junior high boys game 56-21.

Chris Dickson led Walnut Ridge with 11 points and eight rebounds.
