Mustangs' season ends
in third round of tourney

The Hoxie Mustangs 2007 football season came to an end with a 35-0 loss to the Glen Rose Beavers Friday night at Malvern in the third round of the 3A state playoffs.

Glen Rose scored its first touchdown with four minutes left to play in the first quarter to take a 7-0 lead. The Beavers scored again early in the second quarter for a 14-0 lead and added their third touchdown with 2:59 to play in the second period for a 21-0 halftime lead.
