Returning to
country roots
~ just a little

After living in New York City for 22 years, I have recently returned to my country roots ~ just a little.

My family and I moved last month from our 10th-floor apartment to a townhouse. We're still in Brooklyn, we still walk out the front door and run errands on foot, still head to the subway for longer trips and save our car for special occasions, but when we walk out our back door, we think we're in the country.

Co-op, schools offer programs
for children with disabilities

Are you concerned that your child is not talking, walking, seeing, hearing, or learning as well as other children their age? If so, special education services may be the answer. Special education is specifically designed instruction to meet the unique needs of a child with a disability.

Services are provided in a variety of settings from separate classes to special education teachers working closely with your child's classroom teacher. Special education also includes related services such as speech therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy.
