Zebras split games
with Brookland

Black Rock traveled to Brookland Friday night to face the Bearcats in high school basketball action.
The Bearcats took a 31-17 halftime lead over the Zebras and extended their lead to 52-28 heading into the final quarter. Brookland went on to defeat the Zebras 66-35.
Chris Richardson scored 14 points and Les Foster added 12 to lead Black Rock.
Black Rock won the junior boys' game 45-44 over the junior Bearcats.
Joe Paul Carey led the junior Zebras with 24 points.
Twin Rivers
Black Rock recorded at 49-39 win over the Twin Rivers Panthers on Oct. 23 at Williford.
The Zebras led 10-9 at the close of the first quarter and held a 17-15 halftime lead over the Panthers.
Black Rock continued to hold a 31-27 lead over Twin Rivers at the end of the third quarter and took the 49-39 win over the Panthers.
Richardson led Black Rock with 23 points and five rebounds. Foster added 18 points and six rebounds.
