Mustangs finish regular
Mustang Brad Cook jumps over a pile of Hoxie and Piggott players in an attempt to gain more yardage during Friday night's game. The Mustangs came out on top 28-6.

Hoxie jumped on top 6-0 when Alex Ward scored the first of his three touchdowns on a six-yard run with 10:24 to play in the first quarter.
Ward scored again, on a three-yard run, and added the two-point conversion to give Hoxie a 14-0 lead with 1:51 remaining in the opening quarter.
The second quarter was quiet until 1:41 remained, when Houston Hancock,
scored on a three-yard run. Brad Cook kicked the PAT and the Mustangs held a 21-0 halftime lead.
WR falls to Marked TreeWalnut Ridge hosted Marked Tree in senior high football Friday night. The Bobcats fell to the Indians 30-8. Marked Tree clinched the 2A-3 conference championship with the win.
Hillcrest girls sweep S-HHillcrest hosted Sloan-Hendrix for an evening of girls high school basketball on Oct. 22 at Strawberry.
