Lady Mustangs conclude
regular season in volleyball

Hoxie concluded its volleyball regular season with a win over the Pocahontas Lady Redskins on Oct. 16 at Pocahontas. Scores of the four-game match were 20-25, 25-14, 25-13, 25-12.
For the Lady Mustangs, Megan Black totaled six digs, 12 kills and three blocks. Ashley Glenn served 7-of-7, with an ace, two kills, 16 assists and two blocks. Lindsey Ginn added a kill, and Kelsey Dobbs had four digs.
Courtney Jones had eight digs and nine kills. Chasity Becker was 8-for-10 at the line, with three aces, three kills and nine assists. Ashley Ramsey was 18-of-19 at the serving line, with four aces, 11 digs and four kills.
Hoxie finished the regular season with a 14-12 overall record and a 5-4 record in 3A Northeast conference play. The Lady Mustangs begin play in the District Tournament at Brookland on Thursday against the Cave City Cavewomen.
