Bobcats fall to Augusta

The Walnut Ridge Bobcats fell to Augusta 46-7 in senior high football on Friday night at Augusta.
The Bobcats' only score came on a 14-yard pass from Tyler Meadors to Bennett Dudley in the second quarter. Jared Blackwell kicked the extra point.
Meadors threw for 148 yards and ran for 46 yards. Brian Archibald carried eight times for 47 yards, and Dudley had two catches for 55 yards.
The Bobcats are 2-2 in 2A-3 conference play with the playoff plans resting on the results of Friday night's game with Marked Tree and the outcome of McCrory's game against Cross County.
Friday night's game with Marked Tree will also be senior night.
