WR Pride Band
receives awards
The Walnut Ridge High School Pride Band received several awards at the 2007 Mid-South Marching Classic held at Jonesboro High School last Saturday.
The band received a Division II excellent rating and Division I superior rating for color guard. Drum major Garrett Culbreath was also awarded a superior rating.
The Pride Band, under the direction of John Long, competed against 15 other schools.
