ZAD receives Exemplary Award
For the seventh year in a row, the Zebras Against Drugs organization at Black Rock High School has been awarded an Exemplary Project Award for its anti-drug activities.ZAD members attended the TONE Summit at the Paragould Community Center on Sept. 15 along with about 300 other Northeast Arkansas students and received the award during a recognition ceremony.
Those attending were Jessica Rudd, Ashley Stallings, Sarah Sloan, Amy McKenzie and Alex Willett. McKenzie and Willett attended staff training during the summer and served as staff members at the summit.
Rita Prestidge and Tara Walker, ZAD sponsors, accompanied the students.
