Lady Cats fall to Brookland

The Brookland Lady Bearcats defeated Walnut Ridge's Lady Bobcats 25-18, 25-10, 25-13 in senior high volleyball action on Thursday at Brookland.

Rachel Looney had four kills and seven blocks for Walnut Ridge, which fell to 4-4 for the season. Chelsea Treadway served 10-of-10, with three aces and two kills. Amber Caldwell was 7-of-9 from the line, with two aces, a kill and five assists. Taylor Wagner went 6-of-6 from the service line, with five digs.

Chelsey Linebaugh was 1-of-2 serving, with a kill and two assists. Emily Holder closed serving 3-of-5, with an ace. Jessica Baldwin recorded a dig and a block, and Sam Knight had three digs for the day.

The junior Lady Bobcats fell to the Lady Bearcats 9-25, 15-25.
