Bobcats
fall at EPC

The Walnut Ridge Bobcats traveled to Lepanto to take on the East Poinsett County Warriors in high school football action on Friday.
The Warriors took a 20-0 lead into halftime and made it stand up in the second half to claim a 20-0 victory.
Britton, Tyler Meadors and Jared Blackwell all ran the ball hard for the Bobcats. Britton had 12 carries for 64 yards, and quarterback Meadors contributed 54 yards on 17 totes.
Defensively, Colton Simpson, Brandon Dawson, Ryan Bounds and Cory Sellers led the tackle chart, while Mitchell Thompson had an interception.
