WR airport to host
The Walnut Ridge Regional Airport will host an air show on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A MIG-17 will begin flying at 4 p.m., with other acts to follow. The Walnut Ridge Army Flying School museum will also be open to the public. Parachute Inn will open at 11 a.m. to serve hamburgers and hot dogs.
All car club members, or anyone with a show car, are asked to bring their cars for display.
The event is free to the public.
The airport will have an Air Force C-130 on hand on Monday to demonstrate emergency evacuation techniques.
The hands-on show and tell of the aircraft is open to all emergency responders in the area including firemen, EMTs and police officers.
