Lawrence County Fair
The schedule for the Lawrence County Fair, which will be Aug. 21-25, has been set. The pageants will be Friday and Saturday night, Aug. 24-25.

Other events are as follows:
3:30-4:30 p.m. - Set up educational booths.
4:30-6 p.m. - Check in entries in Educational Exhibit Building and Educational Booths.
5 p.m. - Set up commercial booths.
6 p.m. - Carnival opens.
7 p.m. - Gospel singing with ice cream social in gymnasium.
1 p.m. - Judging in Educational Exhibit Building and Educational Booths.
5-8 p.m. - Educational Exhibit Building open.
6 p.m. - Judging of hogs, lambs and goats.
6 p.m. - Armband night. Advance armbands- $10 at Citizens Bank, Pulaski Bank and Shelter Insurance.
6 p.m. - Open cattle show. Entry fee is $10 per entry.
7 p.m. - Cruise in.
Noon - 8 p.m. - Educational Exhibit Building open.
8 p.m. - Rodeo, ladies goat milking and greased pig catch. Rodeo admission: $5 for students and $10 for adults.
10 a.m.-3 p.m. - Educational Exhibit Building Open.
Noon - Auto show judging, livestock check out.
3 p.m. - Auto show awards.
3:30-4:30 p.m. - Educational Exhibit Building check out.
8 p.m. - Rodeo, wild cow milking, calf scramble.
