The Lawrence County Walk of Hope Golf Tournament, held last Saturday at the Walnut Ridge Country Club ,was a success, raising $1,785, almost twice the amount of last year's.

Seventy-two golfers turned out for the one-day three-person scramble. The championship winners were Morrow, Madison and Gugle of Pocahontas, who scored 56. Second place was the team of Darrell Kelley, Mike Kelley and Barrett Kelley scoring 61. Chad Pace, Matt Hibbs and Shane Cunningham took third with 62.
