School Board filings reported

The drawing for ballot positions for the Sept. 18 school board elections will be held Friday, at 2 p.m. in the Lawrence County Courthouse conference room.

Preston Clark has filed for a seat on the Sloan-Hendrix School Board. He is running for re-election to the board, following the expiration of his previous term.

Cathy Coker and Ron Ingram have filed in the race for the Walnut Ridge position on the Lawrence County School Board.

On the Hoxie School Board, Ronald "Hoss" Jones and Marlyn Tate have filed for the position.

David Durham is running unopposed for re-election to the Hillcrest School Board.
