for '07 photo contest

The Times Dispatch has announced plans for its 16th "Summertime Photo Contest."

The following rules apply:

only five photos may be submitted per photographer.
write name, address and telephone number on the back of the photo with a non-smearing ink pen or attach note with tape.
identify the scene or people in the photo and give a brief description of where they are and what they are doing.
those who wish to have their photos returned should send a self-addressed, stamped envelope with the entry.

Deadline for entry is July 20

The contest deadline will be Friday, July 20, and winning entries will be published in The TD.

Photos can be mailed to "Summertime Photo Contest," c/o The Times Dispatch, P.O. Box 389, Walnut Ridge, AR 72476 or dropped off at The Times Dispatch office at 225 West Main in Walnut Ridge.

The TD reserves the right to publish any photo submitted for the contest in later editions. The TD is not responsible for lost photographs, and photos may be cropped at The TD's discretion.
