Children's Shelter volunteers display items to be auctioned during the second annual Children's Shelter Benefit this Saturday evening at the Walnut Ridge Country Club. The second annual Children's Shelter Benefit will be held Friday evening at 8 p.m. at the Walnut Ridge Country Club.

Hors d'oeuvres will be served, and a live auction will be held featuring celebrity and entertainment related items. Sound Xtreme with DJ Andy Allen will provide dance music beginning at 9 p.m.
Some auction items will include: "Maxine" prints and book autographed by John Wagner; two Grand Casino Resort Packages featuring one-night stay, $75 dining coupon at LB's Steakhouse plus two $50 Bellissimo Spa and Salon coupons; a ventilation fan with light and heater from Flippo Heat and Air; tote bag and matching purse by Lynette Henkel from B's Bags Ð West; Caramel Mother of Pearl ovals and Coral Beads necklace by Val Ostarch from Adventurous Jewelry and NBC Sports Shirt, size L, autographed by Bob Costas.
