WR's Chris Logan
to play for Williams
Chris Logan, who led Walnut Ridge High School in scoring this year, is going to play basketball at his hometown college. Logan has signed his commitment with Williams Baptist College.
Logan, 6'0", was his team's MVP this year, averaging 17 points, 8.1 rebounds and three steals per game. He was a two-time selection for All-Conference in basketball, as well as being an All-State baseball player. He also excelled in the classroom, graduating with a 3.9 grade point average.
"Chris is a good fit for Williams," Eagles coach Jeff Rider said. "He is a good student and a good person, and he was also a good high school athlete. We hope to see him work hard adjusting to the college game so that he can become a contributor to our team down the road."
Logan is the son of Scott and Cindy Logan.
The Eagles compete in the American Midwest Conference of the NAIA.
