Orrick selected for
All-Star baseball game
Logan Orrick, a 2007 graduate of Black Rock High School, has been selected as a member of the All-Star East Baseball Team.
He holds a .500 batting average for the Zebras, with 31 RBI's, one homerun and nine doubles. He also has a .716 on-base percentage. As a pitcher, he won five with two losses and had a 3.23 ERA.
Orrick was awarded the Lowest ERA Award at the school's athletic banquet and was also named All-Region in baseball.
He is the son of Jeff and Janet Orrick of Portia.
The All-Star baseball doubleheader will be played at Baum Stadium on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville on Tuesday, June 19, starting at 5 p.m.
