WRHS names award winners
Whitney Ginn (left) and Matt Moore were presented with the Celebration of Excellence Award at Walnut Ridge High School's awards ceremony last week. To receive this award, students were required to have a 3.5 GPA and fill out an application, complete with essay about the following quote from Ernest Hemingway, "Every man's life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived and how he died that distinguish one man from another."
Cameron Kelley (left) and Rachel Fultner were presented with the Freda Willmuth Leadership Award at Walnut Ridge High School's awards ceremony last week. The award, for which winners are chosen by faculty, says "Leaders are like eaglesÉthey don't flock, you find them one at a time."
