2007 WRHS annual
dedicated to Biggers
The 2007 Walnut Ridge High School yearbook has been dedicated to Belinda Biggers (left), elementary principal. Whitney Ginn, editor of the yearbook, presents her with a copy of the book.
The WRHS Annual Staff has dedicated the yearbook to Elementary Principal Belinda (Mrs. Freddie) Biggers.
The yearbook states, "Mrs. Belinda Biggers has spent 23 years serving the students and faculty of the Walnut Ridge Schools, first as a teacher and currently as elementary principal. We dedicate this 2007 yearbook to her in commemoration of the many years of hard work, devotion and love for her students. Thank you so much, Mrs. Biggers, for all that you have done."
Mrs. Biggers announced last month that she would be retiring after this school year.
Mr. and Miss WRHS recipients have also been named with the release of the annual. They are Cameron Kelley and Chelsea Treadway. First runners-up are Ryan Sluder and Whitney Ginn; second runners-up are Jack Kent and Morgan Witcher; third runners-up are Stephen Watson and Rachel Fultner; and fourth runners-up are Matt Moore and Brandy Swindle.
Morgan Witcher, a senior, has been named annual queen. Maids are Chelsea Treadway, a junior; Rachael Jackson, a sophomore; and Staci Spargo, a freshman.
Logan Simpson, a sophomore, has been named annual king. Mark Briner is senior knight; Tel Britton is junior knight; and Logan Gaither is freshman Knight.
Brandy Rhodes Cox, Miss Arkansas 1999, selected the annual queen and king.
Whitney Ginn served as editor of the 2007 annual, Jessica Osbahr was assistant editor and Caitlin Jones was the business manager. Sloane Kelley served as faculty sponsor.
