Graduations set at area schools
Graduation ceremonies for the class of 2007 have been set at area schools.
Black Rock High School will hold its graduation on May 17 at 7 p.m. in the Multipurpose Building.
Delaplaine School will hold its final graduation on Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the gymnasium.
Graduation will be held for Hillcrest High School on May 18 at 7 p.m. in the Lynn campus gymnasium.
Hoxie's graduation is set for May 17 at 7 p.m. in the Robert W. Hicks Gymnasium.
Graduation for Sloan-Hendrix class of 2007 will be held in the SHHS Athletic Complex on May 11 at 7:30 p.m.
Walnut Ridge will hold its graduation on May 18 at 7 p.m. in the Sharum Gymnasium. A baccalaureate for the class will be held May 13 at 8 p.m. in the Walnut Ridge Community Center.
Over 100 graduates are expected to be conferred degrees when Williams Baptist College holds its baccalaureate and commencement exercises on Saturday. The ceremony will be held in WBC's Southerland-Mabee Center at 10 a.m.
The speaker will be Clay Hallmark, pastor of First Baptist Church in Marion. Dr. Hallmark will also be presented with WBC's 2007 Distinguished Baptist Minister award.
The ceremony is open to the public.
