Mitch Walton, Sloan-Hendrix High School principal, has acknowledged the academic accomplishments of the honor graduates of the Class of 2007.

The valedictorian for the class of 2007 is Natasha Difani. Natasha is the daughter of Derrick and Cindy Difani of Pocahontas. She has a 3.97 GPA and plans to attend Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.

Jessica Anderson has been named as salutatorian for the class of 2007, with a 3.75 GPA. Jessica is the daughter of Robert and Lisa Anderson of Pocahontas and plans to attend Black River Technical College in Pocahontas.

Honor graduates include Karen Rorex, daughter of Scott and Gail Rorex of Imboden; Brittany Conrad, daughter of Britt and Kathy Conrad of Ravenden; Jessica Calhoun, daughter of Wesley and Lisa Kelley of Ravenden and Robert Calhoun of Pineville, Mo.; Candice Barnett, daughter of Tim and Sherry Barnett of Imboden; Lynsey Lawrence, daughter of Lynn and Henrietta Lawrence of Ravenden; Brian Higginbotham, son of Steve and Rhonda Higginbotham of Imboden; Cable Treanor, son of Peggy Treanor of Imboden and the late Gary Treanor; and Robin Wilkins, daughter of Tim and Dawn Wilkins of Imboden.

Each of these students will be recognized at the commencement exercises to be held in the Sloan-Hendrix Athletic Complex at 7:30 p.m. on May 11.
