Two from WR
die in accident
A two-vehicle accident on Monday in Greene County, just south of Sedgwick on Highway 63, resulted in the deaths of two Walnut Ridge residents, according to Trooper Doug Thomas of the Arkansas State Police.
Glenda McGinty, 45, and Timothy Craig, 37, were both pronounced dead at Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould.
The accident occurred at 11:05 a.m. when a 2005 GMC truck, driven northbound by Ronald Bohm, 55, of Laquey, Mo., crossed the centerline and hit a 1994 Ford Escort, driven southbound by McGinty, head-on.
Bohn was transported to St. Bernards in Jonesboro.
