Lady Cats earn wins

Walnut Ridge's Lady Bobcats made the road trip to Tuckerman and posted a 10-8 victory over the Lady Bulldogs in high school softball on March 20.
The Lady Cats scored one run in the first inning and five in the second for an early 6-0 lead.
The Lady Bulldogs scored five runs in the third inning to close to within 6-5.
Walnut Ridge added three runs in the fourth inning and one in the fifth to Tuckerman's three.
Staci Spargo took the win on the mound.
At the plate. Spargo batted 3-for-4, Jessica Osbahr hit 2-for-4 and Morgan Witcher went 1-for-2.
The Lady Bobcats traveled to Judsonia on March 19 to face White County Central.
The Lady Bears took a 2-0 first-inning lead before Walnut Ridge stepped up and scored one run in the second inning, one in the third and one in the fourth to take a 3-2 lead.
WCC scored a run in the fifth inning with Walnut Ridge notching three runs to take a 6-3 victory.
Spargo earned the win from the mound.
Taylor Wagoner batted 3-for-3. Osbahr went 2-for-4. Lindsey Sims also went 2-for-4 with a two-run triple. Jordan Rorex, Spargo, Chelsey Linebaugh and Witcher closed with a hit each.
