Lady Mustangs
compete in tourney

The Hoxie Lady Mustangs softball team competed in the Rumble-N-Raiderville tournament hosted by Nettleton over the weekend.

In their first game, the Lady Mustangs beat Batesville Southside 14-8.

Jessica Barber was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Katherine Holder was 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI, and Shalicia Wilson was 1-for-2.

Kelsey Dobbs pitched.

In the second game, Hoxie was held without a hit in an 8-0 loss to Valley View.

Dobbs started on the mound for Hoxie.

In their third game, the Lady Mustangs lost to Newport 3-0.

Ashley Glenn went 1-for-2 with a triple. Holly King went 1-for-2 with a double.

Dobbs pitched another complete game for Hoxie.
