Lady Mustangs beat Corning

The Hoxie Lady Mustangs softball team defeated Corning 8-1 on Thursday at Hoxie.

Kelsey Dobbs pitched a complete game and recorded four strikeouts and one walk.

Ashley Glenn went 1-for-3. Rachel Goff batted 2-for-4, including a double. Tabitha Weaver had a triple and three RBIs.

Jonesboro

The Lady Mustangs were defeated 3-0 by the Jonesboro Lady Hurricane on March 13 at Jonesboro. Kelsey Dobbs took the loss on the mound,

At the plate, Glenn hit 1-for-4. Holly King was 2-for-4 with two doubles. Jessica Barber, Katherine Holder and Dobbs each batted 1-for-3. Alex Brewer and Weaver each went 2-for-3.
