Lady Cats defeat BR

Walnut Ridge hosted Black Rock in softball action on Thursday.
Each team scored one run in the first inning. After a scoreless second inning, the Lady Bobcats earned one run in the third inning, followed by six runs in the fourth, to the Lady Zebras' one.
Walnut Ridge finished the game with two runs in the sixth inning to make the final score 10-2.
Jessica Osbahr took the win from the mound with five strikeouts.
Taylor Wagoner recorded two hits. Staci Spargo, Lindsey Sims, Chelsey Linebaugh and Vanessa Oliver each notched a hit.
