Lady Cats stomp CRA

The Walnut Ridge Lady Bobcats softball team traveled to Paragould on Friday to take on the Crowley's Ridge Academy Lady Falcons.
Walnut Ridge earned two runs in the first inning, to CRA's none. The Lady Falcons scored one run in the second and third innings, while the Lady Bobcats scored three in the third.
Walnut Ridge struck hard in the fifth inning, with two runs and finished the day with nine runs in the sixth to claim the 16-2 victory.
Staci Spargo earned the win with seven strikeouts.
Jordan Rorex, Spargo, Chelsey Linebaugh and Taylor Wagoner each recorded two hits. Jessica Osbahr, Vanessa Oliver, Morgan Witcher and Crystal Roacho each earned one hit.
