Mustangs drop three games
Harrisburg hosted Hoxie in high school baseball on March 6.
The Hornets Chris Ford pitched a complete game, allowing one hit in a 6-1 win over Hoxie.
After each team scored a run in the first inning, the Hornets added three runs in the third. Harrisburg added a run in the fourth inning and one in the fifth.
Tanner Jarrett took the loss on the mound, striking out six.
Jonathan Lawrence, Billy Mike Watson, Tyler Crisler, Blake Snow and Blaine Middlecoff each recorded a hit for the Mustangs.
Hoxie traveled to Newark on March 5 and lost to Cedar Ridge 5-3.
The Timberwolves scored one run in the first inning, three runs in the second inning and one run in the sixth.
Hoxie recorded one run in the third inning and two runs in the sixth.
Jake Hitt took the loss from the mound, striking out 12.
Jarrett batted 1-for-2, and Crisler hit 1-for-4 with two RBI's.
Hoxie took a road trip to Manila and were held without a hit in a 13-0 loss.
Lawrence took the loss on the mound.
