WR FIFTH GRADE GIRLS WIN COUNTY TITLE
The Walnut Ridge fifth grade girls team won their division of the Lawrence County Peewee Basketball Tournament held March 5~9 at Sloan~Hendrix School. They defeated the Hoxie girls team, 20~6, in the finals. HOXIE FIFTH GRADE BOYS ARE COUNTY CHAMPS
The Hoxie fifth grade boys team won their division of the Lawrence County Peewee Basketball Tournament. They defeated the Walnut Ridge boys, 35~14, in the finals. The team finished with a perfect 13~0 season record.

HILLCREST SIXTH GRADE GIRLS ARE COUNTY CHAMPS
The Hillcrest sixth grade girls team won their division of the Lawrence County Peewee Basketball Tournament. They defeated Walnut Ridge, 22~20, in the finals.
