The Lawrence County Spelling Bee was held yesterday morning at Black Rock School. Winners include: Dalton Henson (back, from left), Hoxie, seventh grade, first place and third place overall; Tony Cook, Hoxie, eighth grade, first place and overall winner; Cody Hudson, Walnut Ridge, eighth grade, second place; Maddison Woodard, Hoxie, sixth grade, third place; Kellie Beasley, Hillcrest, seventh grade, second place; (front) Katie Ponder, Sloan-Hendrix, eighth grade, third place; Alanna Sartain, Sloan-Hendrix, seventh grade, third place; Jacob Robins, Black Rock, sixth grade, second place; and Ryan Vaughn, Hoxie, sixth grade, first place and second place overall.
