Bobcats are county champs

Hoxie and Walnut Ridge took to the hardwood in the senior girls final, with the Lady Mustangs taking a 10-8 lead. Hoxie continued to hold off Walnut Ridge and led 25-16 at halftime.

Junior Bobcats earn title

The Walnut Ridge and Sloan Hendrix boys were the next to take the court. Walnut Ridge exploded into a 17-3 first-quarter lead and continued to hammer the boards for a 31-10 halftime lead.

Junior Lady Mustangs win tourney

The Hillcrest and Hoxie girls battled for the title, with the junior Lady Screamin' Eagles taking a 10-6 lead with the second quarter approaching. The Lady Eagles closed the first half holding on to a 15-14 lead.

Hoxie boys earn
seventh grade title

The boys' final proved to be a barnburner from the start, with Hoxie taking an 8-5 lead after the first quarter. The second quarter was no different, as the Mustangs held a 16-14 lead at the end of the half.
