In addition to new mayors in Walnut Ridge and Hoxie, Lawrence County also saw changes in administration in Black Rock, Strawberry, Alicia and College City.

Aaron Andrews now serves as the new mayor of College City, after running unopposed during last year's elections.

Andrews is a graduate of Hannibal LaGrange University, where he received a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in Christian education. He also serves as the director of annual giving and alumni relations at Williams Baptist College.

Andrews said that he is very appreciative of the opportunity to serve the community of College City.

He also said that one of the challenges he will face will be "working within a limited budget to try to do some positive things for College City."

"I plan to work with the citizens of College City and other local leaders to make Lawrence County a better place," Andrews said.

Andrews lives in College City with his wife, Jennifer, and their two sons Mason and Collin.
