Hillcrest girls beat Midland

The Hillcrest Lady Screamin' Eagles traveled to Midland on Nov. 10 and dominated the Lady Mustangs in a 68-31 win.

Hillcrest wasted little time in putting the game away, taking a 19-4 lead after the first quarter and leading 39-7 at halftime. With the "mercy rule" in effect, the Lady Eagles coasted in the second half for the win.

Three Lady Eagles scored in double figures, led by Breanna Doyle with 17 points and eight rebounds. Jessica Broadway added 12 points and Jessica Jarrett had 11. Lauren Pickle tossed in nine points and had 10 rebounds, and Kalie Durham had eight points. Whitney Jones had six points, and Amber Glen added five.
