BR girls lose close
one to Tuckerman

Tuckerman's Lady Bulldogs defeated Black Rock 49-47 in a senior high girls basketball barnburner at Tuckerman on Nov. 13.

The Lady Zebras grabbed a 19-17 lead heading into the second quarter and went to halftime holding a 29-28 advantage.

Tuckerman began to attack Black Rock in the third period and moved to a 41-38 lead heading in to the final quarter of play. The Lady Zebras fought a hard battle, but could not overcome the Lady Bulldogs.

Whitney Martin led the Lady Zebras with 22 points, followed by Brittany Anderson with 15. Stephanie Bagwell contributed eight points, Bethany Erwin added four and Jordan Fore closed with three.
