Mustangs fall in
second-round game

The Hoxie Mustangs traveled to Springdale on Friday to face the Shiloh Christian Saints in the second round of the 3A state football playoffs. The Saints jumped on the Mustangs with four touchdowns in the first quarter en route to a 49-7 win.
"Shiloh came out and hit us quickly on their first series to make it 7-0. We were putting together a nice first-series drive ourselves, but put the ball on the ground. It seemed like things steam rolled very quickly before we could get our feet back under us," said Hoxie coach Tom Sears continued...
