Greyhounds earn homecoming win
Logan Collins scored 22 points and Royce Pace added 20 for Sloan-Hendrix, as the Greyhounds picked up their first win of the season with a 56-47 victory over the Mammoth Spring Bears in front of a Homecoming crowd Friday at Imboden.
The Bears led 23-16 at halftime, but the Greyhounds' Logan Collins sank one of his five three-pointers at the buzzer to tie the game 33-33 heading into the final period.
The Hounds kept up the momentum in the final quarter to record the win.
Collins finished with 22 points, and Royce Pace added 20 for Sloan-Hendrix.
Sloan-Hendrix also won the junior high contest 51-49.
Sloan-Hendrix lost to Maynard 68-64 in overtime on Thursday at Imboden, despite a 30-point performance by Pace.
Stanley Archer added 15 for the Greyhounds.
Sloan-Hendrix defeated Maynard 51-43 in a junior high boys contest.
