BR Zebras claim winDebbie RicheyStaff Writer The Black Rock Zebras defeated the Williford Indians 62-46 in senior high boys basketball Friday night at Williford. The Zebras held the Indians to two points in the third quarter, and held a 53-34 lead heading in to the final quarter. Les Foster led the Zebras with 15 points and seven rebounds. Mitchell Thompson contributed 14 points and Matt Chadwick pulled down eight rebounds. Black Rock won the junior high game 42-27.
The Tuckerman Bulldogs visited Black Rock on Oct. 30 and defeated the Zebras 65-39. Foster led the Zebras with 19 points.
