Lady Mustangs drop
game at state tourney

The Hoxie Lady Mustangs lost to Lavaca 25-21, 25-20, 25-15 in the first round of the 3A state volleyball playoffs Nov. 1 at Harrison.
Jessica Anglin had 10 digs, 14 kills, nine assists and three blocks. Tabitha Weaver was seven-of-seven from the line with nine digs, two kills and 11 assists. Rachel Goff had 16 digs and seven blocks.
Tiffany Bullard had four digs and four kills. Megan Black had 12 digs, three kills and 10 blocks, and Alex Brewer had 12 digs, three kills and two blocks.
