Hilburn apponted to
UA Board of Trustees
Gov. Mike Huckabee has appointed Walnut Ridge native Sam Hilburn to the Board of Trustees of the University of Arkansas System.
Hilburn, 64, of North Little Rock is an attorney and is a senior partner with Hilburn, Calhoon, Harper, Pruniski & Calhoun, Ltd. He is a member of the Pulaski County Bar Association, Arkansas Bar Association and the American Bar Association. continued...

Celebration draws crowd
The town of Black Rock's population experienced what has become an annual increase in population over the weekend as the Black Rock Foothills Celebration was held.
