BR falls to ICCDebbie RicheyStaff Writer Izard County Consolidated defeated Black Rock 64-37 in senior boys basketball Oct. 24 at Black Rock. The Zebras held a 17-12 lead after one quarter, but were outscored 52-20 for the remainder of the game. Matt Chadwick led Black Rock with 12 points.
The ICC Lady Cougars jumped out to a 22-3 first-quarter lead and never looked back on their way to handing the Black Rock Lady Zebras a 51-20 loss on Oct. 24 at Black Rock. Becca Lawrence scored seven points to lead the Lady Zebras. |
