tough loss

Walnut Ridge was plagued by turnovers and was shut out for the first time this season in a 12-0 loss to the Augusta Red Devils Friday at Sexton Field. The loss dropped the Bobcats to 3-3-1 on the season and into a third-place tie with the Red Devils at 2-2 in 2A-3 Conference play.

The Hillcrest Lady Screamin' Eagles hosted Calico Rock on Friday at Strawberry. The Lady Eagles were unable to get their game on and fell to the Lady Pirates 47-38.
