Accident claims
WR man's life
A Walnut Ridge man was killed Friday night in a one-vehicle accident, near Walnut Ridge.
According to Cpl. Creston Hutton of the Arkansas State Police, Michael V. Watson, 41, was killed when the 2003 Ford pickup he was driving overturned in a ditch.
According to the report, the pickup was traveling south on Highway 34, approximately three miles north of Walnut Ridge, at 8:04 p.m. when it traveled into the northbound ditch and overturned. Watson was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
