The Walnut Ridge Bobcats traveled to Cherry Valley on Friday night and were defeated by the Cross County Thunderbirds 39-22.

White then succeeded on the two-point conversion to cut Cross County's lead to 13-8. Meadors later connected with Seth Chamblee on a 30-yard scoring pass to give the Bobcats a 14-13 lead with five minutes to play in the first half.
Meadors closed the night with 14-of-23 passing for 146 yards and two touchdowns.
Logan Morse led the Bobcat rushers with 143 yards on 17 carries. Ryan Weir notched 108 yards on 15 carries. Meadors rushed six times for 29 yards and a touchdown.
